MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY WORKSHEETS

Measures of central tendency are statistical measures that provide a way to summarize and describe the central or typical value of a dataset. These measures help to identify a single representative value around which the data points tend to cluster. The three main measures of central tendency are the mean, median, and mode.

Measures of Central Tendency Worksheets

Find Mean

The mean, also known as the average, is calculated by adding up all the values in a dataset and then dividing the sum by the number of values.

Find Median

It is the middle value in a dataset when it is in ascending or descending order.

Find Mode

The mode is the value that appears most frequently in a dataset. A dataset may have no mode, one mode, or more than one mode (multimodal).

Find Range

Range is a measure of statistical dispersion that quantifies the extent to which a set of values in a dataset varies.

Find Mean, Median, Mode, Range

These measures of central tendency help summarize and describe the central or typical value in a dataset.

Find Quartile

Quartiles are statistical measures that divide a dataset into four equal parts, each representing 25% of the data.
